The Real Truth About PPC Kahuna

By

My PPC Kahuna Review

I've always been interested in learning pay per click marketing, but I never really knew where to start. I've read the stories of people making quite a bit of money online using PPC and it had always piqued my interest. So I decided to look around for a PPC coaching site that would help me learn the ins and outs of PPC. I read some positive reviews of PPC Kahuna and a couple of PPC Coach reviews. In the end, I went with PPC Kahuna since it seemed like it had better hands on training that seemed more suitable for someone like me.

For those that haven't heard about it before, PPC Kahuna is a pay per click membership course developed by Jason Katzenback (of JohnCow fame). It offers desktop software, web based tools, video lessons, and other training material to help you get started as a PPC marketer. I have now been with the course for two months now, so let me share with you exactly what is involved.

PPC Training. The training is called the "14 Day Challenge" and it gives you a chance to see Jason setup a PPC campaign from beginning to end. You start off figuring out how to pick your niche and perform keyword research, and then move on to creating your blog and launching your campaign. Each day's training gives you two videos with step by step instructions narrated by Jason himself.

PPC Kahuna Software. This PPC spy tool enables you to essentially steal your competitors pay per click campaigns. Just start by entering in your keywords, and PPC Kahuna will scan Google for each keyword and keep track of which advertisers are displaying ads. When run over the course of a couple of weeks, you will be able to figure out which keywords were the most profitable by seeing which advertisers consistently ran advertisements for them. You can also use the software to figure out what ad copy they were using which you can emulate for your own ads.

BlitzLP. This is a script allows you to create landing pages on the fly. You install BlitzLP on your own server, and it allows you to create different landing page templates that will give you good Google Adwords quality scores. The higher the quality score your landing page gets, the less you pay per click so it pays to use a script like this.

Affiliate Blueprint. Each month, Jason will give you an already researched niche for you to implement and build a campaign around. He gives you the background behind the niche, the PPC and SEO keywords to use, an article to use for your product page, and three other topic related articles that you can use as you wish. This is fantastic for the lazy marketer. =)

Web tools. You can access several great PPC tools on the PPC Kahuna membership site itself. The BlitzPPC tool makes it extremely easy to upload your campaigns to Adwords and I use this tool all the time. I also really like the various keyword tools which makes managing and generating keyword lists very easy.

Hopefully, this gives you a taste of what PPC Kahuna has to offer. I did a journal of my experiences with the 14 Day Challenge and setting up my first PPC Campaign.
